Kombo Butter to the Rescue!

Uses for Kombo ButterIf you’re looking for a carrier that will go on thick, Kombo Butter does not disappoint! And who doesn’t want to smell like chocolate? For those of us that are sensitive to essential oil and carrier aromas, this one could be a game-changer!

Description:

Kombo butter is a carrier with the consistency of a thick butter. It has deep red and chocolate-brown hues with a nutty aroma and caramel undertones.  I love how it goes on so smooth! It is quite a unique carrier that is difficult to compare to others I’ve used before. This amazing butter is made from the seeds of the African nutmeg tree that is native to the rainforests of Ghana. No wonder it seems so exotic!

Uses:

This carrier has incredible antimicrobial and antifungal properties. These make it a great option for anything skin-related to help prevent infection. Kombo butter can be used to ease dry skin that can become cracked and irritated in the winter time. Though it is somewhat grainy, it goes on smooth and is easily absorbed. If you’re looking for an all-natural ingredient to thicken up your creams or lotions, Kombo butter would be a great choice.

It can also be helpful in arthritis due to its high content of Cetyl myristoleate. Although quite a mouthful, this natural substance relieves pain and inflammation. Great for those sore muscles after a workout or just a strenuous day in general. I know we all have those days!

Blends Well With:

Other carriers like: Palm Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil and Sweet Almond Oil

Essential oils like: Frankincense, Myrrh, Clove, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Cardamom
